Wayne Wonder
Wayne Wonder (born Von Wayne Charles in Buff Bay, Portland, Jamaica on 26 July 1972) is a Jamaican reggae fusion (specifically reggae / R&B) artist. While his early recordings were dancehall and reggae, he later moved towards hip hop and rap. He auditioned at Sonic Sounds studio, but while Sly Dunbar was impressed, his touring commitments with Black Uhuru prevented him from signing Wonder. He had more success, however, with King Tubby, who produced his first single, "Long and Lasting Love", in 1985, with two more following.

Shorty My
“Shorty My” is a smooth R&B groove that blends soft pidgin flavor with warm, State‑side soul. KàLo moves in a low, husky whisper as he chases the girl who stole his focus — shy, sweet, and slowly letting her guard down. The track floats on deep 808s, late‑night pads, and a cozy rhythm that hits like dim lights and quiet chemistry. This is the moment right after Nkem — when the crush turns real, and he starts calling her Shorty My because she’s becoming his babe for real. The song is playful, intimate, and warm… the kind of vibe that sneaks up on you and stays stuck in your chest. If you’ve ever felt somebody melting for you slowly… this one hits home.more
