1/2 West Indian maternal roots+ 1/2 East Indian paternal roots...raised mostly between North & Downtown 4th St. in Camden, NJ.  Watching my dad sing & dance while delivering vocals better than every male artist.  My musical influences are best spoken of by genre because I don't have a favorite I respect everyone's energy....afro beats, dancehall, roots reggae, soca, R&B, neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop, rap, country & rock.  Although I am most know for being a local spoken word artist...(Ras Niger Ali) or poet/singer song writer...(Jah Dark Lamb)....a long journey reminded me of my royal bloodline and my only chance to finally live life has always been...now.                                                                           To fail is to not try at all... #Nigerism.     NGR.IAM is a dark strong polyamorus sapiosexual singer/songwriter, entrepreneur, father/King.  Love loves love.
