i’m so excited for you all to hear (and hopefully) enjoy this single as much as i do!! just to tell you a little bit about the song— i wrote this back in february when thinking about a few special someones in my life that i believe would truly be lighter without someone hurting them & how i remember feeling that way during and after my very own seemingly epic (at the time) yet ridiculous, toxic relationship; a weight lifted off my shoulders once they were out of the picture— lighter, if you will. i had no intentions of recording this because i thought it didn’t necessarily fit the era of my life i’m in at the moment, but then i thought— well, at one point it did and it might fit others as well. i wanted to create a song that i and many others could listen to in the car or in their headphones when they wanted to remind themselves of the bad parts of being with someone that doesn’t deserve them as well as the feeling they should cherish now that they are free to do as they please without being dragged down. anyway, i hope you like it & i’m sending you all good energy, high vibrations, and so much love !! 🧡more
