Across the Frostlands is the solo project by Veronica MoonRay. Epic electronic rock music with a relevant presence of dubstep, synthwave, and retrowave. The main focus resides in the message, so it all starts with the lyrics. The values I like to transmit: respect, honesty, loyalty, empathy, courtesy, and hope. Topics particularly dear to me: peace, awakening, nature, inner research, believe in yourself, be yourself, look for yourself, dreams, real stories, parallel/alternative realities, motivation. Most of the sounds in my music are built from scratch. If the first stage is the lyrics, the second is recording sounds to use only in that album. I create them from anything I can find that has potential and then I transform them into synthesizers. The most satisfying sounds for the first album are an elastic-bass and a giant "paellera" used as a gong. First album: "The fruits of peace {a cry for peace}", March 17th, 2026.
