Coming out of the Orange County music scene in California, Against The Sun is ready to redefine the next generation of rock/metal music. The band started as a creative outlet for long time singer/songwriter Brad West, but was given new life when he met guitarist Brad Mitchell. Once the band recruited bassist Alex Galusha, the band began to hit its stride, performing at Knotfest 2019, the House of Blues in Anaheim, and headlining at Chain Reaction. Against The Sun recently recruited drummer Conner Eddy, who brings years of experience on the stage and in the studio, along with his love for the most groundbreaking and innovative takes on alternative music. The band’s next release is their cover of Oingo Boingo’s legendary track, ‘Dead Man’s Party.’ Against The Sun distilled the essential hooks of the original, while adding modern rock guitars, a driving rhythm, and catchy harmonies to bring this classic into 2021. This never-before-heard take will attract older and younger fans alike.
