This is the first piece I have ever written—undoubtedly born from a need to vent the anger, frustration, and helplessness I felt after the death of my younger brother. I present both versions together, in English and in Italian: although the lyrics are similar, they differ greatly in musical structure and in how I needed to express these emotions.
