Alex Drift stands for a straightforward, clear, very melodic and catchy electronic sound. His main focus at the moment is on boogie house beats, disco basslines and catchy vocal hooks. Alex Drift likes to leave his comfort zone and try out other genres to challenge himself, try out and discover new things.
Alex is no newcomer to the field of electronic music and has been living in Berlin for 20 years. There he has already released under different pseudonyms on labels like Vinyl Vibes Records, Vienna Scientists, Ministry of Sound or Stereo Deluxe and won 2nd place at the Land Rover Music Award.
With the move from Berlin to Mainz came the new project Alex Drift. It should become housier and more electronic without losing the focus on soulful vibes. After the first album R.E.H.A.B. in 2021, it continued with the singles, that are the consistent processing of the album and the question of what we want from life, who we love, how we live and what is actually important to us.

Summer Jam
This is a brand‑new song from my freshly released album Curiosity Chapter 1 on Electromantica, out now as of April 24, 2026. I’m super excited because these tracks were thought to be lost forever after a hard‑drive crash - so it feels amazing to finally share them with you. Have fun!
The Story Behind the Song:
There are days when everyday life weighs so heavily that you almost forget how to breathe.
Summer Jam is my answer to that overload. The track celebrates a kind of lightness we often take for granted. It reminds us that after every hard winter - no matter how long it lasts - there is always a summer waiting somewhere.
A summer that wants you to dance again.
Enjoy the moment, because it belongs to you.
“Feel I could fly away” is the promise you make to yourself: that you can break free from the confines and remember what it feels like to be alive.more

CTRL
Big groove energy meets subtle satire. “Control (CTRL)” is for everyone tired of men who perform strength but can’t handle real connection.
Heavy beats. Deep layers. Ironic bite.
Cover art? Buff dude with an elephant head – need I say more?
Play loud. Lose control.more

Beautiful Flamingo
It's about that one surreal moment in the club - when you discover someone on the other side of the dance floor who radiates something so unique, so magnetic, that the world around you fades away - the “Beautiful Flamingo” who suddenly casts a spell over you. You don't know the name. Maybe you'll never see the person again. But in that moment, you fall in love - deeply and instantly, and it becomes a night to remember.more
