The Golden Souls give full-throated expression to the Jamaican and African American experience that will resonate with more experienced audiences, while warmly welcoming music fans that are just learning about their own history. Staying true to an authentic sound and feel, an all-star collection of Reggae veterans got back to those Studio One-style roots. Relying on the interactive chemistry of in-studio collaboration and analog recording techniques to produce work that’s honest, relevant, and enlightening. The authentic energy and easily translatable vibes of this record will appeal to reggae lovers as much as it appeals to listeners in other genres.

Tears drop fall (feat. Jah'Mila) [Rare version]
Music fans of all types are going to love this wonderful little bit of dessert. This bonus track calls back to the album's opening moments as it reprises track 1 with a Jah’mila, daughter of Earl Chinna Smith, reinventing the Ken Boothe song in her strong yet distinctly feminine way. Spanish-inspired horns back her up while she stands on her own with only a simple backing of drums and guitars. Vocal: Jah'Mila Keys: Franklyn "Bubbler" Waul Guitars: Dalton Browne Trumpets: Willy Rangone Trombone: Luppo Gesualdi Bass: Wormbass Drums: Kush Mcanuff Percussion: Fanso Craig & Alex PhMusic fans of all types are going to love this wonderful little bit of dessert. Church & State ft, Winston McAnuff
HBS Records presents as part of the Masterpiece album "Under a Single Sky" a song in the spirit of classic Kingston protest songs. Church & State doesn’t pull any punches. On the first listen you’ll hear the fearlessness of McAnuff’s vocals, but when you give it another listen, you’ll realize that it’s backed up with a passionate, dramatic violin that could have come straight out of a gypsy caravan and a simple touch of Django Reinhardt’s Minor Swing played by the young Monty Lamont Savory. It’s another song proving that Reggae can go anywhere. Vocal: Winston Mcanuff Keys: Franklyn "Bubbler" Waul Violins: Olga Ilyashenko & Peter Voronov Guitars: Monty Lamont Savory Bass: Wormbass Drums: Kush Mcanuff Percussion: Fanso Craig Mixed by: Dominique Blanc-Francard at Labomatic Studiosmore
