At the end of November, the same night I was due to perform live for the first time in 25 years (as the new singer of Tantrum), I tested positive for Covid-19 and the gig had to be cancelled. Since then, I've been having to go through a load of vocal repair exercises as I lost a couple of notes from the top of my range. Normally, I would have been able to record this song with no issue, but this time I had to drop it by one semitone to cope with the highs. I'm using it as a baseline, and I'm hoping that in six months time or so, I'll be able to hit the highs at the correct pitch. I know there are issues, but I'm still happy with how it turned out.
