Ape Bucket (Charbel Saikali) is a Lebanese-born experimental musician based in the SoCal/LA area. He is impervious to classifications when it comes time to create new music. Adding his own influences and flavors he seeks to push music forward through feel driven frequencies that can garner an effect of apotheosis. His first single release 'It Is What It Is' is the start to his current project called ‘Scatterbrain’, where he explores the different styles of music that inhabit his mind and feels that the answer is all, not one. ‘It Is What It Is’ is a peek into this exploratory style with a psychedelic indie dance attitude that delves into the struggles of modern life and relationships while offering an escape with ecstasy inspired frequencies. Influenced by the psychedelic rock era of the late 60s and the modern 2010s era, he adds a dash of his own punk, hip hop, and hardcore tastes.
