For a long time, I hid what I was really dealing with. I’ve struggled with depression, anxiety, fear, and questions about faith for years, but I got really good at pretending I was okay. Most people never saw the sleepless nights, the overthinking, the exhaustion, or how lost I actually felt inside. Eventually I hit a wall. And after so many nights feeling empty, overwhelmed, and completely worn down, I finally cried out to the Lord. Somewhere in the middle of all that pain, God gave me music. Writing became a way for me to process everything I was carrying — the darkness, the doubts, the fear, the hope, and the faith I was trying so hard not to lose. These songs aren’t just entertainment to me. They’re real. They came from some of the hardest moments of my life. And if even one person hears this music and feels less alone in what they’re fighting, then every second of it was worth it. 🖤
