Everyone goes through hardships in their lives, and sometimes they might feel like giving up, so I wanted to tell them that they're not alone. Written over the course of the pandemic and featuring a prominent amount of 80s inspired sounds, including a choir recorded from various phone voice memos, this song is about living in the fullness of God’s presence and in His freedom, through the eyes of the next generation. There’s a play on words in the notion of the days once lived to their fullest, contrasted by the joy that comes from living in God’s glory, even in the last days here and now.more
