BRIGHTSIDE is a Hip-Hop artist and podcaster based in the West Palm Beach area of South Florida. Originally from Brooklyn, the Puerto Rican MC is rooted in the Nuyorican tradition and raw lyricism of ’90s New York. He started rapping in junior high and developed his skills through cyphers, rap battles, block parties, and college radio. With a battle-rap background, he brings aggressive delivery, sharp wordplay, and a competitive edge to music ranging from boom bap to other Hip-Hop styles and subgenres. Influenced by Big Pun, Wu-Tang Clan, and the East Coast Hip-Hop he grew up around, BRIGHTSIDE blends battle-ready bars, humor, pop-culture references, and unfiltered observations about struggle, faith, and everyday life. Beyond music, he co-hosts Sofa Kingdom Podcast and co-created a collectible trading card board game available in physical and digital versions. He makes the Hip-Hop he loves: lyrical, entertaining, and unapologetically out-of-pocket.
