CJ Sargent “Taking Life one Country Song at a time’. My mom says from the time I was two I was writing these songs. Although I don’t remember back then, today, my life really has become a living, breathing medley of country songs. Whether it is experiences that I am going through myself or that a friend maybe going through, it inevitably ends up as the song’s starting point. To date, I have written over 300 songs. I feel incredibly blessed that lyrics flow through me and I am able to share my passion for life and song through country music. Growing up in Ardrossan, AB, I spent the first 8 years of my life in the country and then when my parents split up, I spent half my time in country and half in the city which has given me a very unique perspective. I am just a good ole country boy in the big city lights!!
