Long before he ever stepped up to a mic himself, Capital C was building the game from the inside. The Rustenburg native cut his teeth in the industry back in 2016, managing artists and learning the business end of music — the deals, the studio sessions, the hustle behind the scenes — all while holding down his own 9 to 5. That grind gave him something most rappers don't have starting out: a real understanding of what it takes to build a career, not just a song. His own moment in the spotlight came in 2023, when he stepped in to record the hook for BlackAce's "Never Ready." The record connected, and it did more than put his voice on wax — it confirmed what people around North West already knew: Capital C had something to say. Now he's turning the page from behind-the-scenes builder to artist in his own right, working on a catalogue that moves easily between hip-hop, R&B, and kwaito — a sound as versatile as his background. It's music shaped by years spent around different artists
