"Telling my parents that I was leaving home again was hard, but then I left the house like a single feather in a middle of a storm," Casey says and continues to describe his journey as a roller coaster. Casey has done the ups and downs from Limpopo to Pretoria and he thought he was making his final homecoming when he dropped out of college and gave up on his music in October of 2022. With time, his life dream started haunting him and he would constantly battle with his thoughts on how he was going to take care of his daughter; so he would now and again bow his head and say a prayer, "Lord give me a sign if music is for me. Even if it's not a big sign, so that I can go back to the city and keep fighting the battle," he describes it in a nostalgic sense and says a few days later after his prayers, he received a phone call from his cousin.
