Amarillo, Texas
Born on the dusty outskirts of Amarillo, Texas, Colton Ryder grew up where the sunsets stretch for miles and the only thing louder than the crickets was a six-string strumming by a bonfire.
Raised on a steady diet of George Strait, Tim McGraw, and the hum of old Ford engines, Colton learned early that hard work, heartache, and wide-open dreams were part of the deal.
Most days he was helping on ranches, fixing up old trucks, or playing small-town gigs at local bars before he was even old enough to order a drink.
When he wasn’t working, he was writing — pouring his life into songs that sound like dusty boots, young love, and chasing the kind of dreams too big for one town to hold.
Today, that Amarillo spirit is still in every note Colton sings — real, raw, and built on the promise that even if you leave your hometown chasing bigger skies, you never leave behind who you are.
