Coming from Norfolk, Virginia, viral rapper D Chapo has always chased his dreams while surviving the streets. Recently, he has been constantly releasing heat, with breakout singles like ‘Clap’, ‘21 questions’, & ‘Carbon’ that racked up hundreds of thousands of views on platforms. D Chapo is versatile with a trap inspired sound, that the streets have a heart for & the club scene in Atlanta & Los Angeles love. He credits Future as one of his biggest inspirations, musically. D Chapo started as a honor roll student in school & then turned to the streets around 13/14 year old, when he realized that his family did not have as much as he thought they had. It wasn’t until age 16 he started making music. Being homeless and kicked out of school at the time, he turned to music as an outlet. He said at first it was just something to do then it turned into a passion.
