We had to go DIY on this track due to COVID taking away all our gigs to fund it. I think it turned out great but does it Slap? 2 family members for a band mate, in their 40’s, died of cancer. Genuine was written after the second had passed. It’s the stages of grief in reverse. Starts off with a bit of melancholy mixed with acceptance and builds to anger and rage. Real life shit brings powerful emotions that we wanna act on. Like being there for people in need but often our own lives get in the way, leaving the people in need alone and bitter. Genuine intention does not equal action. more
