This song was composed when my mum was diagnosed with dementia. Moca Test is an exercise they make patients do to make them recognise everyday objects or animals. Using a repetitive arpeggiator is a way to get my mother's memory back by repeating the same thing over and over again.more

So, I went out for a walk (as you do) to have a ponder- took my laptop with me and sat by a beautiful pond, made a beat that hit my soul and I had a wee cry. "The Pond" is part of my latest album "WHERE'S YOUR SHOES!?" - A story about the healing and grounding experiences I create when walking through the world without shoes. Walking barefoot pretty much everywhere is my way of minding my own business and keeping my shit straight. It's cold, hot, painful, amazing, heals, brings joy, sadness, anger- every emotion and sensation we experience, we feel in our soles as the Earth moves beneath our feet.
