Dimitri Djibril Lewkowicz, known by the stage name Dim Lewko, is a French rapper, singer and producer of Guinean and Polish origin. He is known for being a jack-of-all-trades as his musical influences extend to several different musical styles such as electronica, industrial music, Afropop and classical music. In his childhood, he developed a natural love of music thanks to his mother who introduced him to artist such as George Brassens, Jacques Brel or Jimi Hendrix. He then became passionate about American hip-hop culture, including the albums of Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and J.Dilla. Because of this, he naturally began to rap in English. Additionally, Dim has been able to travel to several culturally rich cities, such as New York or Tokyo, where he began to write and compose his music.
