In my song, 'Ghost in My Own Life,' I really wanted to capture that raw, gut-wrenching feeling of being completely down on your luck, where everything that could go wrong, does. It's about a man who's so overwhelmed by hardship and loss that he feels totally isolated, like he's become invisible to the world and even to himself... a true 'ghost' in his own story. I tried to convey the profound loneliness and the deep, aching pain that comes with losing your dreams and feeling adrift without any direction.
