Do Dem comes from the mysterious underground House music parties and Dubstep parties of deep grow culture found in the legendary Humboldt County, Where he produced work as a VJ and engaged in producing and promoting a handful of sound system culture events. Followed by an extensive immersion in the warehouse dance parties and mopey shoegaze clubs of Brooklyn NYC. First as a VJ engaged with the flow arts, then as a wanderer and now a producer. It's a natural progression of someone who never could stand to be far from any music scene for more than a few heartbeats!! What makes a Do Dem track is a heavy driving bassey throbbing beat with hypnotizing high end textures, i.e lots of distortion and delay, and hooky melodies over the top. And it's always a good feeling rocking out light years ahead of your old stuff while people are still discovering and falling in love with your old stuff.
