Born in Fayetteville N.C , Donya Chant at 12 years young began to sing, and it was when he heard reggae artist Johnny Nash, originally from Houston Tx, that he began his reggae career. Bob Marley had a big influence on his life and so did other artist like Sizzla, Major Riley, but it was Lady Saw who made Donya realize his ability to perform on stage as he did a remix of one of her tunes to win a local talent show which gave him some talk among crowd of people. And now Clever Vibe Recordings presents DONYA CHANT and he is ready for the world.
