✨A Song to Celebrate My Amazing Wife! ✨ - The most beautiful, wonderful, intelligent, inspirational, caring and otherwise brilliant woman I’ve ever known! - This is her favorite, of the Bossa Nova songs that I often perform for family and friends. It’s a simple guitar duet, with a little bass guitar and percussion. - 🎶 Manha de Carnival (Carnival Morning), composed by Luis Bonfa in 1959 is one of the first Bossa Nova songs to gain popularity outside Brazil. It was originally released as the theme song for Orfeu Negro, which won an Academy Award in 1960. The haunting melody has been performed by numerous artists over the decades. 🎶 - In the late 80’s my wife and I saw this song performed live and up close by Al Dimeola, John McLaughlin, and Paco de Lucia. It was an extraordinary event of a lifetime! - Please humor me, as I played all the instruments in this cover version. Recorded in GarageBand for iOS. Mixed in Logic Pro 12. I hope you enjoy this Bossa Nova Classic! - Thanks, Scotty 🎶more
