Vintage Scarry Garcia Circa 1997...First song I had ever fully sang was in studio for this. Had just finished lyrics in time for first Full Album studio adventure. Had only sort of sang 1st line in practice a few times up to this point. So after putting down rhythm with drums...his timing sucked and drummer followed me for timing. Went in with a pint of tequila and knocked out 2 songs. This was all live onto a 24-Track machine no dubs or copy paste. Wasn't my studio...so we got what we got. Kinda crispy to me now but perfectly fine back then...my god it was a real studio !!! The rest of the band from then perished...torn limb from limb by rabid weasels...or tragic blimp accident. I forget which...or maybe it was the tequila. The picture is actually from 1999 and my first gig as Scarry Garcia. Anyhow...arrangement and music is me...lyrics all me...paying for studio time...all me. And I still got a fresh crop of weasels in my back yard...in case I need them again. scarrygarcia.com I actually have older tracks dating back to 80s. This is an unreleased track...I intend to record it better one day soon hopefully...more
