Split Halo is the latest musical project from longtime songwriter and musician StaggerD. Rooted in alternative metal, nu metal, hard rock, and post-hardcore, Split Halo explores the spaces between vulnerability and defiance, atmosphere and aggression, introspection and release. Drawing from personal experiences, imagined stories, and the emotions that connect them, the songs range from heavy, groove-driven anthems to haunting, reflective pieces. Themes of identity, relationships, pressure, resilience, and self-discovery weave throughout the music, creating a sound that feels equally at home in a dark club after midnight or blasting through speakers on a long drive home. At its core, Split Halo is about embracing every side of who we are—the beautiful, the broken, and everything in between.
