Singer-Songwriter Emanuel Giella’s latest offerings move from the soulful/romantic tone of his first album “Unbroken” to his Latin dance roots. Hailing from Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz Mexico, Emanuel combines his passion for rhythmic Latin beats with dance vibes from around the world. “No Need to Lie (feat. Maritza Ruiz)” infused Middle Eastern flavors with a salsa-trap vibe. His newest single, “My Kind of Night (feat. Comfort Fedoke)” combines Latin Pop Dance rhythms with Afro-World Beats.
Collaborating with Comfort Fedoke, SYTYCD All-star, they have created a song that brings together Latin pop, rap, trap, sexual equality, and cultural inclusion. Comfort’s Nigerian heritage inspired the primary percussion that drives the song. Emanuel’s Mexican heritage, being a machismo-driven culture, inspired a female voice that has agency and power, countering the misogynistic overtones that we hear in much of today’s music.
