“Still It Burns” is a deeply emotional fusion of melodic rock, alternative Rock, and cinematic balladry, built on atmospheric instrumentation, restrained intensity, and a gradual, powerful dynamic rise. The song leans into space and texture, delicate verses carried by clean guitar tones and subtle ambience evolve into soaring, emotionally charged choruses, supported by swelling arrangements and expressive vocal delivery. Rather than relying on heaviness, the track achieves its impact through melodic phrasing, tonal contrast, and a haunting sense of stillness that lingers between each note. Lyrically, “Still It Burns” is a poignant exploration of loss, memory, and unresolved grief, telling the story of love that endures even after absence. Through vivid imagery of rain, fire, ashes, and silence, the song captures the quiet devastation of holding on to what can no longer be reached. The recurring line “Still it burns” becomes a central motif symbolising a pain that does not fade, but transforms into something internal and eternal. As the narrative unfolds, it moves from reflection and longing to acceptance without closure, delivering a raw and intimate portrayal of emotional endurance that resonates long after the final note fades.more

This is my very first upload here. I created this track thinking of my beloved dog. It's a piece I left behind simply because I never want to forget her. Beneath the memory, it’s a dark, hypnotic electronic track blended with a raw alternative rock vibe. Turn off the lights, turn up the bass, and let it bite you. - Mastered by mixea.commore
