Famous Tripp is an rising hip hop recording artist from his hometown of Cahokia, IL. where he grew up which is located six miles North of St. Louis, MO. Famous Tripp (born Devaune Cortez Wilborn in 1996) brings a very unique and different sound along with his model style image to the music industry. He started taking music seriously in 2020 after several years of writing beginning in the 8th grade. He compares his rap delivery to the late Speaker Knockerz. The stage name “Famous Tripp” was born after numerous amount of people kept telling him he looks like platinum award winning artist Trippie Redd, who Famous Tripp has tremendous amount of respect for. Soon after, friends started calling him Trip, needing a stage name to kick off his music career, but also looking to create a lane for himself he added famous to the front and a extra p to Trip. Since a teenager, the thought of being wealthy and famous was a dream he craved so adding famous to his name was a no brainer.
