Haji is a Somali spoken word poet, rapper, activist, mental health advocate, and entrepreneur based in Atlanta, Georgia. She immigrated to the U.S from a refugee camp in Dadaab,Kenya which she resided in during her primary years as a result of her family fleeing the Somali civil war. Haji is an alchemist as she has transmuted a variety of hopeless circumstances in her life using music as an outlet to motivate, empower, and create revolutionary change.
