JOANNAWILLIAMS

Los Angeles, CA, USA

Born in Los Angeles on August 23, 1994, Joanna’s journey began at just 4 years old in the Philippines, where she discovered her passion for music watching her father, Jerome J. Williams, perform timeless classics by Bob Marley, The Eagles, and Earth, Wind & Fire with his band in Cavite City. At eight, she returned to the U.S. and trained at the New York Performing Arts Academy and VAPA Dance Academy, mastering ballet, jazz, modern, and building a reputation as a professional hip-hop dancer and choreographer for major brands like Disney and Show Off Dance Intensive. Now based in Los Angeles, Joanna has embraced full independence in her career after parting ways with previous label ties to ensure full creative freedom and integrity. Her hit single “Lucky” is streaming on all platforms, and she continues to record in some of LA’s most respected studios—on her own terms. Joanna Williams is proving that real stars shine brightest when they own their light.
