My music is an audible narration of my emotions, fantasies, and struggles. I try to convert the imagery in my head into my music. A lot of my music is inspired from 90's and early 2000's video games. I pull a lot of inspiration from J-RPG style games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. Actually, I often envision my characters in those types of worlds - very futuristic and fantasy-like. Someone very important to me told me that my music doesn't always have to be dark. That some of my best music are the songs with beauty in them... I always thought that was funny. The 'darker' songs are just easier for me to write. I'm not the best music theorist out there, so making 'beautiful' music is a bit harder for me, but it always results in something I can't stop listening to. Also, these songs are still 'dark' in their own way, but with lighter colors painted on the canvas.
