God Don't Sleep is my debut single as Jakob Kydd. It's a raw, cinematic hip-hop track built from true events—not fiction. The song dives into addiction, homelessness, jail, grief, fatherhood, and the fight to rebuild a life after losing everything. It's about hitting rock bottom, questioning your purpose, and realizing that even when you feel abandoned, there's still hope waiting for you. This isn't a song about pretending to be perfect. It's about surviving the worst days, carrying the weight of your past, and refusing to let it define your future. "God Don't Sleep" is for anyone who's ever felt broken, forgotten, or ready to give up. It's proof that no matter how dark the night gets, your story isn't over.more
