The Mysterious House of Ming
How much longer do we have to grieve
Before we deserve a good shore leave?
After the death of my ailing wife,
I'm setting sail for the seas of life.
To be reborn we must cut the cord,
And throw the old body overboard;
Been weighing me down for far too long,
Keeping me from women,
Wine and song.
One's luck and life can turn on a dime;
Spin the wheel, roll the dice--
It's show time!
After this cup of tea and I Ching
I'm heading down to the House of Ming;
Visit the leisure gardens of Chang,
And plunder the pleasure dens of Tang.
Women of the wharves peddling flesh,
Selling their fish and always so fresh;
In the red-light lobster side of town,
Where too many lost souls
Drink and drown.more
