Prolific, intense, compassionate, and resilient, Jayoo is ready to bring a wave of new music to the world. Multi-talented Jayoo is able to soothe with his singing abilities, story tell with his powerful rapping, and WOW with his dancing abilities.
Born Jalon Stephens, he has always been inspired by music. Raised in Shreveport, Louisiana he was first an accomplished Gymnast, becoming a 2-time ALL-AMERICAN NCAA Bronze Medalist, BIG 10 Silver Medalist, and US National Champion. He credits music for propelling him through the difficult times during his training. Growing up in the church he started singing at age 10 in the choir with his brother and mother. After retiring from gymnastics, he released his first few singles via Soundcloud in 2020 during the pandemic.
Jayoo released his first EP "Speak" in September of 2020 which garnered a collective 25,000 streams in the first month! He had successful releases of his second and third albums, with his breakout single "Suns Out"
