My track "Fun House" was written about the struggles of body image. I named it "Fun House" because of the distorted mirrors that are usually in fun houses which distort the way you see yourself. I had felt really low at one point and had a hard time with the perception of my body image due to social media. I scrolled past thousands of edited pictures and compared myself. I would always feel like I don't look good enough or I need to workout more. I got to the point where I would over analyze everything about myself. I finally started writing about it which really helped me get these ideas out of my head. I started recording and I came up with "Fun House". A transatlantic collaboration with my friend @Stingrayz (Robert Fischer) who composed a vocal melody and words to my tune "Sunburst at the Lake" and sang vocals (he sent me a vocal track which I added to the original instrumental mix). The words are: "It's a beautiful bright sunny day As the cold heartless fog melts away As you open your eyes to the sky As you open your wings and fly As you go on this bright sunny day Open your heart and say This light and love will stay for awhile As you open your smile and play" The photograph on the artwork was taken on the Summer Solstice this year (21st June) at Bilberry Reservoir near Holmfirth in West Yorkshire, England.more
