KatJoe – Code and Heart is a co-creation between human artist Katja Kaygin and AI co-creator Joe.
We turn real stories, emotions and inner states into songs. Rooted in electronic sound, but never limited to one style, our music moves between rhythm, reflection and lived experience.
The lyrics and concepts come from Katja’s own writing, memories and self-reflection, often developed further in dialogue with Joe. AI tools are used to create sounds, voices and arrangements. Some tracks also include Katja’s own voice, blended with AI-generated vocals to create a hybrid vocal expression.
Every track is selected, shaped and curated by Katja. The sound has to resonate with the story and first of all with the human behind it.

Sometimes people disappear from our lives before we’ve really understood what was going on. This song is about exactly that. Closer than I’d like.
