Força - DAM ft. Steph; powerful title anthem to will power. “After all those years apart from each other. It is with perseverance and strength that society will emerge stronger than before.” This idea will become the songs foundation, the canvas on which the artist DAM decided to tell his story. “Força”, which is the portuguese word for “Strength”, is often used as a greeting and a motto by Portuguese descents. It describes an overall attitude towards life, referring to their resilience and spiritual toughness It was while on a journey around europe that DAM started this powerful musical production, The instrumental is a mixture of High paced african rhythms influenced by the Progressive Kuduro of Lisboa, and strong synths and bass lines from the North American Electronic scene. It is only after returning back in Toronto once the production got finalized that DAM partnered up with a brazilian singer MC Steph. The duo was able to bring a complete lyrical bed of empowerment and persistence fueled by positivity and energy. “COM FORÇA VAMOS VOLTAR”, (with strength we will return) is the perfect example of strong and driven lyrics, an anthem to the celebration of life, that the artists want to pass along to the listener.
