New song "Beautiful Ruins" from our upcoming album Decay which is released on the 7th of March. Pre-save here -> https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/cosmicdawg/decay - This song is about dementia which my Dad sadly passed away from back in 2022. - ###Lyrics### - Soft petals of memory drift through the night Whispers of silence with edges of white Broken mirrors reflect what we cannot see Fragments of dreams washing over me - Dream light falling Memories calling Breaking and crawling Watch how we're stalling - Sleep light falling, scattered and pale Echoes of stories that constantly fail Holding onto shadows, watching them fade In the beautiful ruins that we have made - Photographs bleach in forgotten rooms Poetry written under invisible moons Delicate structures of hope and despair Hanging like cobwebs suspended in air - Dream light falling Memories calling Breaking and crawling Watch how we're stalling - Sleep light falling, scattered and pale Echoes of stories that constantly fail Holding onto shadows, watching them fade In the beautiful ruins that we have made - Dream light falling Memories calling Breaking and crawling Watch how we're stalling - Sleep light falling, scattered and pale Echoes of stories that constantly fail Holding onto shadows, watching them fade In the beautiful ruins that we have mademore
