THE EVOLUTION OF BEATMAKING:
In the beginning Carlton Manoxide (Irvin Boseman) was a struggling rap artist who searched desperately for a decent beat. It was this frustrating search that started a hunger to create a legacy, label & legend.
When a legacy is created, the individual who starts it has no idea what he maybe creating. We are unaware of the monsters we create. In this case, Manoxide started making beats at the age of 17. Coming from a family of musical influence, he says “It was no coincidence, as much as an advantage.“
When asked “what made you decide to get into beat making” he said "I just wanted to make some of the dope beats, like some of my influences were using. I spent a lot of time emulating that music, ironically, that music became a golden era and now that's what I'm offering to my artist, and the others that I work with."
