Introducing Tho7: A Transcontinental Sound Architect Weaving Lofi Warmth into Modern Minimalism.
A sonic wanderer between two worlds, Tho7 finds his muse in both the dynamic heartbeat of Berlin and the sun-drenched rhythms of Cape Town. Splitting his time evenly between these two vibrant cities, he follows the sun's path, curating his soundscape with the essence of each destination. But before the dual sunlit inspirations, Tho7's roots trace back to the industrial tapestry of the Ruhr Area in the western reaches of Germany – an upbringing that colors his music with diverse hues.
Immersed in the vibrant palette of minimalistic house, Tho7 is a craftsman of grooving basslines and irresistible swing-rhythms. His rhythmic innovations are truly remarkable, breathing life into his tracks and summoning dancers to the floor. Envisioned for the dancefloor, his creations are a sonic invitation to move.

Blinds up
This track is a hommage to one of my favorite clubbing experiences in berlin: The moment in Berghain's Panorama Bar when the blinds go up for a second and the crowd goes wild to the best house music. This track is what this sounds like in my mind. A bassline-driven minimalistic House Track with an epic build-up/drop in the middle. more

Gettin' Down
So we’ve been living in this amazing loft in cape town for the last couple month, open brick walls, super high ceilings, reminded me a lot of new york city.
Check out the cover, which is a homage to that apartment. And being in that environment was very inspiring for me and let me to create this EP with a bit of a particular sound.. It has 4 tracks and they are all very short, similarly structured and infused with let’s call it urban swag. Tune in and enjoy!more
