Da Tru Story begins with a genuine love for sound ̶ not fame, not attention, just music. Before the name existed, it was simply Tru experimenting with beats, learning melody, and understanding rhythm. There was never a big plan. Just curiosity. Messing with sounds. Figuring out what felt right. Turning small ideas into full tracks. Growing up around live instruments played by his pops and friends, along with his mom’s jazz, Latin, and soulful playlists, shaped his ear early on. Those influences blend into the way he hears music today ̶ warm, layered, and intentional. His production style centers on textured layers and careful detail, shaped by years of hands-on experience and steady growth. Today, Da Tru Story is building a catalog defined by authenticity, musicality, and a sound that continues to evolve with each release.
