Summer is about one of the last Summers I experienced where I had no school and I would spend the Summer vacation as I pleased. I wanted to capture and preserve the feeling for myself, forever. In the song, I'm essentially going through my perfect Summer day - from waking up to going home after a day well spent. I wrote this song in the Summer of College 2012 and this is definitely the oldest song off of the album. This song has a special place in my heart because the demo version was the first time I realized I could write a whole song and arrange it from start to finish. I didn't know it back then, but this song was the foundation for what Forgetful Bob was going to sound like.
