Growing up in Monroe, LA had its ups and downs but it only gets more worse in crimes as years go on. The people gravitated towards K.D. Elliott for his word play and storytelling lyrics. His biggest musical influences have been J. Cole, Ludacris, Kendrick Lamar, & Snoop Dogg . His music has this storytelling ghetto feel that many people can relate to.
