"Walking Alone" is a rock song that recalls the psychedelic rock of the early 1970s and partly also the musicals of that period, such as Hair. It draws inspiration from imagining oneself in a post-apocalyptic world, where the few survivors are forced to deal with the wrong choices and values of the Western society just before the disaster. It is an imaginary journey along a dry and rubble-filled path, where the protagonist finds himself alone with his thoughts and, as he looks back on recent events, realizes that this will be an opportunity to rebuild a better world together with those who, like him, have finally opened their eyes and understood the path to take so that humanity does not fall back into darkness.more
