RPTVRR is the pseudonym of Canadian Drum and Bass producer Jesse Bragg. Born on the east coast but raised in Toronto, Ontario, RPTVRR first dabbled as a rave DJ under the name DJ Storm producing dnb and dubstep in 2009. Influenced by the likes of Zeds Dead, dirtyphonics, and breaks pioneer High Contrast, RPTVRR loved the high intensity that dance music was capable of and began writing some of his own in the form of Dubstep and Trap. A couple of unfortunate events in 2014 such as being diagnosed with cancer although beating it and losing his father the year after propelled his musical direction to focus on darker basslines, punchier drums and deeper melodies. In 2014 RPTVRR had A collaboration with Ubisoft and U of Ts Lvl up program matching the promo video with his track Mau5e5 a heavy electro piece with deadmau5 vibes. His first official release Standing Right There was released on Spotify for a year before being taken down to be rereleased later in 2020 with some new ditty's.
