Posting n reviewing quick as can. Fine Line...one of those message songs for someone in particular. Was a transition time for me during the 80 hours of recording for this 10 track album. But of course this songs advice applies to everybody. "And you better believe girl You might find yourself When you leave the past behind" Most everything was double tracked manually...no copy paste shifting. Everything I could think of including the backwards cymbals at intro. Keep it simple...no lead on this one...just the power of the rest. I first took a 12 hour session...recorded 10 cuts together. There was only one retake. Scratch vocals for all cuts...then I erased everything but the drums. And then the real work started. There's no beat matching here or any dehumanizing techniques that are now popular...not in my genre you don't. And this is actually the hardest vocal track off the whole album. And I blew it out on the chorus...full steam on double tracks. More tracks on the way...incoming !!! New stuff as soon as I can manage. Finishing up on studio. I wrote all music and all lyrics...and basically produced it. All guitars and vocals are me and bass on one track. But I was not the engineer, and I learned from this. It will definitely be mostly in-house this round. I'm working on some stuff that will make this platform stronger for us...I like here. Very positive first week...we are in a very powerful position.
