Rico Gibson (alias-Southern Emperor) is originally from Macon, Georgia and he comes to the table with an eclectic, smooth, soulful sound and producers such as Dr. Dre, Erick Sermon, Q-Tip, and Organized Noize are some of his musical influences to help shape his sound. From the age of 4yrs old, Rico was a student of music and learned several instruments at an early age while growing up in church, and throughout college and he now plays “all” brass instruments, drums and piano.
