New Single from Rubeans, a Portuguese Rock Band! Built on a solid rock foundation, “Essência” stands out for the tension between restraint and explosion, both in its instrumentation and vocal performance. The song explores themes such as isolation, loss, and the need for inner release, reflected in lines like “Reality is nothing more than an illusion” and “I am programmed to live in seclusion.” The pre-chorus — “Stop, live, free your mind / Grow, breathe, feel the present” — serves as a counterpoint to the track’s emotional density, acting as a call to awareness and reconnection with the present moment. “Essência” represents a new phase of greater creative maturity for Rubeans, with the band embracing a more minimalist and honest approach, leaving space for the message to take center stage. The interplay between fragility and sonic intensity enhances the impact of the narrative, guiding the listener through an almost cathartic experience. - Mastered by mixea.commore

“Almost Yours” is the second track on our latest album "This is not the end" and is based on personal experiences. It describes the pain of being “almost” loved, of being emotionally close, but never truly chosen. You're only needed when it suits you, but ultimately remain replaceable and hurt. It concludes with the realization that this “almost” isn't enough and that you have to let go in order not to lose yourself.more
